By creating an account or using ClassArena ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using ClassArena on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
ClassArena accounts are for educators and adults (18 or older). You may use ClassArena in a classroom setting where minors participate as students — but students do not create accounts and are not direct users of the Service under these terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ClassArena complies with the policies of your school or district.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. ClassArena is not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to protect your login credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted.
ClassArena offers a Free tier and a Pro subscription. The Free tier is available indefinitely within its feature limits (3 active games, up to 25 students per buzz-in room, and other limits described on the Pricing page).
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($6/month) or annually ($48/year) through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
If you are unsatisfied with ClassArena Pro, contact us at hello@classarena.org within 14 days of your initial charge and we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion.
You own the questions, categories, games, and rosters you create. By using the Service, you grant ClassArena a limited license to store and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
If you publish a game to the Public Library, you grant ClassArena and other users of the Service a non-exclusive license to view and copy that game for classroom use.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate copyright or any applicable laws.
You agree not to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
The AI question generator produces content automatically. ClassArena does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or copyright status of AI-generated questions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before using it in your classroom.
The ClassArena platform, name, design, and original content are owned by ClassArena and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassArena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to ClassArena in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Your content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
